About Us
MindWork Group is a multidisciplinary private psychiatric practice specializing in complex cases. Our 3 experienced psychiatrists lead an expert team in evaluation and treatment of patients with psychiatric and psychological disorders resulting in psychiatric disability and impairment.
Our outpatient services begin with a consultation with one of our doctors. We aim to provide a thoughtful assessment with the patient that includes review of illness and treatment history, as well as current struggles in diagnosis and treatment of active symptoms. We provide recommendations which may result in ongoing care at MindWork Group.
In our Intensive Outpatient Program our team works with a maximum of 9 patients with available supportive housing. We offer the most doctor time of any program in the country, with physicians running 10 of the 15 hours of groups and providing individual therapy.
Intensive Program participants receive 20+ clinical hours per week in our small, outpatient therapeutic community. After the initial 2 week assessment period, many patients go on to have an average 3 month length of stay. We treat a wide range of diagnoses, including unremitting psychiatric illness, substance use disorders, significant family issues, and personality disorders.
We emphasize expert psychiatric care, intensive psychotherapy, and understanding of interrupted development through the concepts of mentalization and attachment. Occupational and recreational therapies help patients take treatment gains and symptom improvement back into the real world to strengthen their functioning.
