I am a 64 year old wife, mother and grandmother who suffered from high anxiety and depression. Over the course of the four weeks, I was able to engage in sessions with multiple therapists each of whom had a unique specialty and viewpoints. These sessions helped me to understand “how” the mind develops.
Each day, we had more “free form” group discussions (under the guidance of a therapist.) These candid discussions helped me develop interpersonal skills and also enhanced my level of empathy. And lastly by combining talk therapy with yoga, art therapy, and family counseling the program delivered a wholistic approach.
-A MindWork Group patient
The program and related support from the Mind Work Group encouraged me to re-engage in routine life activities and provided me with a great sense of accomplishment. In addition to the daily group sessions where we openly discussed group members' issues and challenges, I received individual guidance and advice from Dr. Franklin and his team whenever I needed it. This was critical to my progress and improvement over time. (After leaving MindWork Group), I have successfully engaged in productive employment, become physically active and developed skills to have a more positive outlook on life.
– A MindWork Group patient
Navigating a loved one's mental health crisis is one of the most stressful experiences one can endure. Under normal circumstances, finding the right healthcare provider is challenging enough. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have discovered the MindWork Group. Their staff possesses a rare mix of expertise and exceptional communication skills, which transformed an overwhelming situation into something far more manageable. Their patience and guidance throughout the entire process were greatly appreciated. If you are seeking compassionate and competent care, look no further.
